As testament to his exceptional mind and trainability, Northern Exposure has transformed from a capable Western Pleasure Champion to becoming the Reserve World Champion in OCK/2008 at 4th level Dressage, entirely ridden by his amateur owner.
Kindness and a forgiving attitude are trademarks of his work ethic and keep him progressing well into the FEI levels. Versatility comes naturally to Northern Exposure; he often competes in hunter pleasure, western pleasure, trail class and dressage... all in one show... and easily rises to the demand of that discipline. His offspring are very young, but show the sensibility and desire to work with and not against you. Sired by Northern Exposure, Tamrac's Express was the winner of the 3 year old Western Pleasure Class at the 2008 Far West Regional Show. Tamrac's Express was also the CMHA's 2008 Reserve High Point Western Pleasure Horse and placed very well in OKC 2008.

Offspring are just beginning to be shown but are very successful on the rail and in-hand (2004 Alberta Futurity Yearling Champion). Northern Exposure foals are eligible to be nominated to the Alberta & World Morgan Futurities. Northern Exposure also had three foals approved in 2005 by the Alberta Horse Improvement Program, including Avonroy Northern Travler. On average, only 30% of horses inspected are approved.
